Mending Casts Inc

We provide free, nature-based retreats for people navigating cancer. All activities are aimed at raising funds for our cancer retreats.

A self-funded charity, retreats are made possible through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and volunteers. Mending Casts committee members & volunteers are involved in a wide range of community gatherings, ranging from formal events for established fly fishing clubs or state/local government agencies to smaller social group activities. Every dollar that is raised is directed back into our retre

at programs and the activities which support them as we are a self-funded not-for-profit organisation run solely by volunteers.

TRIVIA NIGHT
We’ve just had 4 seats become available to our otherwise sold out trivia night fundraiser this coming Saturday night at Heidelberg Golf Club. Tickets $50 each which includes 2 share platters of finger foods. Lots of great silent auction items, a $2000 travel voucher from Travel Managers and guided fishing days from Mountain Fly and Millbrook Lakes.

💲Just $50 per person, including appetisers and automatic entry to the door prize draw.

This is our major fundraising event of the year, and always a wonderful night.

At just 12 participants per retreat, friendships are forged within each retreat.

With two more retreats scheduled for 2026, we are pleased to announce applications are now being considered.
