Lets do a Round Of Applause for ABHAA Vice Captain South Australia 👏👏👏

Hi everyone! I’m Aroa Haque, a HSC 2022 graduate of Holy Cross College. After completing my HSC, I moved to Adelaide, Australia, where I am currently in my final semester of Bachelor of Nursing at Adelaide University.

I’m honoured and excited to take on the role of Vice Captain of the ABHAA in South Australia. Although my HSC years were largely affected by COVID-19 and limited our opportunities to participate in college activities, I always enjoyed being involved whenever I could, especially when I had the opportunity to take part in the event decorations and work as part of the team.

As Vice captain, I hope to strengthen our alumni community in Australia, support the committee, and help create more opportunities for alumni to connect, contribute and grow together. I’m looking forward to working with everyone and making this a meaningful experience for our HCC community.
Hope to see you all soon.

Lets do a Round Of Applause for ABHAA Vice Captain Queensland 👏👏

I’m Nusrat Matin ( Lisa), and I’m very proud to be a HolyCross Alumni. I completed my primary and secondary school education at Holy Cross Girls High school and later attended HolyCross College, Batch 1994/1996.
I’m currently living in Brisbane, Australia. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in different roles, including as a Teacher Aide at Durrack State School and as a Coordinator at Inspired Kids Family Day Care. At present, I’m working in the Australian Public Service.
Outside of work, I love painting, singing, reading novels, listening to music, and travelling.
Music has always been a special part of my life. Back in Bangladesh, I had the wonderful experience of being a Program Presenter at ‘Bangladesh Betar’. Here in Brisbane, I’m an active member of ‘Shanchari’, a lovely musical group, and I also enjoy taking part in different cultural and community activities organised by the Bangladesh Association in Brisbane.
I’m happy to connect with everyone and look forward to sharing memories, music, friendship, and good times together.

Let's do a Round Of Applause for ABHAA Captain Queensland 👏👏

I’m Dr Nazneen Neela, a proud Holy Cross alumni from the 1990-92 batch, currently working as a GP in Brisbane.
Medicine is my profession, but music has always been my passion. I released my solo album Shopnohara in 2011 and was fortunate enough to do a duet music video with Indian singer Shaan in 2024.
For the past 20 years, I’ve also been actively involved in our multicultural community. I’m a past President of the Society of Bangladeshi Doctors in Queensland (SBDQ) and currently the President of the Bangladesh Association in Brisbane (BAB).
I’m super excited and honoured to be the Captain of ABHAA Queensland.
Looking forward to reconnecting with my fellow HolyCross sisters across Australia, meeting old friends, making new connections, sharing memories, and keeping the HolyCross spirit alive wherever we are.
