ABHAA is remembering the Rebel Poet (“বিদ্রোহী কবি”) and the National Poet of Bangladesh, Kazi Nazrul Islam, on his birthday. 🌺

The poverty and hardships of his early life turned into a fire of resistance, courage, and creativity. His poems and songs continue to inspire generations with the spirit of equality, humanity, and rebellion against injustice.

No Bengali revolution feels complete without his iconic song “কারার ঐ লৌহ কপাট” and many more timeless creations that continue to awaken courage and resistance in every generation!!!

With deep sorrow, we remember our beloved teacher, Ms. Amy Gonzalves, who passed away on 21st of May, 2026 at the age of 82. She served Holy Cross College and SFX Greenherald International School with great dedication and also founded Amy’s Academy, touching countless lives through her wisdom and commitment to education. Many of her students later rose to prominence, carrying forward her legacy.

ABHAA family mourns this great loss and prays for her departed soul. May her memory continue to inspire generations to come. 🤍
