A massive thank you to Angela from K9 Nose Fun for hosting the recent Sniffer clinic!

All the dogs had a great time using their noses and brains in an unfamiliar environment, and all their humans went home with some sleepy dogs and some fantastic ideas.

The most amazing thing was seeing how confident the dogs got as the sessions went on! From having no idea what they were doing there, to quickly honing in on the targets.

The Finnish Lapphund Club of Victoria is excited to announce our August “𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗡 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡” Fundraiser. We’re bringing together products from three of our favourite companies to provide YOU with some amazing value on training equipment AND treats!

🌟 First up is 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗗𝗢𝗚 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗥
Black Dog Wear has been a favourite for Lappie owners for over a decade now and is used and recommended regularly by dog trainers around Australia. Their Training Collars have a great martingale design, ideal for big fluffy Lapphund coats.

Hosted by Dogs Australia Scentwork Judge Angela Hervey-Tennyson, this is a fantastic opportunity if you’ve ever wanted to learn how to train your dog in Scentwork, either for fun or for competitions!

Sniffing is great mental enrichment for dogs, releasing dopamine and tiring them out in a fun, natural way.

☁️ Perfect Lapphund weather on Saturday morning for our Pakenham FLCV Social Walk!
No rain meant our small but mighty group was able take our time along the track, stopping so all the dogs could have a play at the dog agility course and show everyone their moves!

It was also a bittersweet catch up with cream lapphund, Totoro, who will be leaving us soon to become a European traveler!
We wish him and his wonderful parents all the best as they embark on their next adventure ❤️

Maximum of 6 dogs per session.
One dog per handler.

Tickets will go on sale for 𝗙𝗟𝗖𝗩 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 on FRIDAY 26th JUNE until SUNDAY 27th
before opening up to non-members on Monday 28th June, so keep an eye on your inboxes!

Lunch will also be available to preorder along with your tickets for both AM and PM sessions.
