Grateful. Focused. Committed. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’™

Iโ€™m humbled to see my LinkedIn Social Selling Index place me in the Top 2% of my industry and Top 4% of my network.

But for me, this is more than a number.

It represents conversations started, knowledge shared, relationships built, people encouraged, and a growing commitment to use this platform for something meaningful.

Influence is not simply about being seen.
It is about using visibility to create value for others.

And if my voice continues to grow, I want that voice to keep recognising the people who inspire me every single day โ€” nurses.

To the hardworking nurses across the globe:

To those working through long shifts.
To those caring for patients when no one is watching.
To those leading without titles.
To those teaching the next generation.
To those advocating for safer care.
To those researching, innovating, mentoring and speaking up.
To those who continue showing compassion even on the most difficult daysโ€ฆ

Thank you.

You are the reason conversations about nursing leadership, empowerment and recognition matter.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who has connected with me, supported my work, challenged my thinking, shared my posts and contributed to the conversations we are building together.

This milestone belongs to the community as much as it belongs to me.

Through ENAG โ€“ Empowering Nurses Across the Globe, my commitment remains simple:

Empower. Uplift. Recognise.

There is still so much work ahead, and there are still so many nursing voices that deserve to be heard.

So we keep going.

More value.
More meaningful connections.
More opportunities for nurses to be recognised.
More impact.

This is not just my journey. Itโ€™s ours.

Onward and upward. ๐ŸŒ

The best is yet to come.

๐ŸŒ GLOBAL NURSING LEADERSHIP QUESTION

Leadership in nursing is not defined by a title.

It is seen in the nurse who speaks up for a patient.
The colleague who supports a struggling teammate.
The educator who builds confidence.
The leader who listens before giving direction.
And the nurse who chooses compassion, even on the hardest shift.

Across countries, cultures and healthcare systems, great nursing leadership can look different but some qualities are universal.

So I want to ask nurses across the globe:

If you could choose ONE quality that every nurse leader should have, what would it be?

Compassion? Courage? Integrity? Resilience? Humility? Empathy? Vision?

๐Ÿ‘‡ Write ONE WORD in the comments โ€” and tell us why it matters to you.

Letโ€™s see what nurses from different parts of the world believe truly defines exceptional leadership.

Your answer may be the message another nurse needs to hear today. ๐Ÿ’™

Tag a nurse whose leadership has inspired you.

Together, we can redefine leadership in nursing not by position, but by the difference we make in the lives of others.

Empower. Uplift. Recognise. ๐ŸŒ

There is something incredibly powerful about seeing a nurse support the work of another nurse not for recognition, but because they believe in the purpose behind it. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’™

Today, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported my books and, more importantly, the vision that inspired them through ENAG โ€”Empowering Nurses Across the Globe.

This photo was shared by a fellow nurse from Queenstown, New Zealand ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ, holding The Empowered Nurse Exam Guide and ENAG: The Global Movement Born From One Nurseโ€™s Vision.

For me, this is more than a photograph.

It represents what nursing can become when we choose to support one another, celebrate one another, and lift one another across borders.

Nurses spend so much of their lives caring for others. We stand beside people during their most vulnerable moments. We advocate when voices are unheard. We lead in emergencies, educate the next generation, comfort families, challenge systems, and quietly make a difference every single day.

And yet, sometimes nurses themselves need someone to say:

Your work matters.
Your voice matters.
Your leadership matters.
Your story deserves to be heard.

That is the heart behind ENAG.

These books were never created simply to sit on a shelf. They were created with the hope of helping nurses grow in confidence, succeed professionally, think critically, lead courageously, and recognise the extraordinary potential within our profession.

From Australia to New Zealand and now to nurses in different parts of the world every message, every share, every purchase and every word of encouragement reminds me that a simple idea can travel much further when a community chooses to believe in it.

To the nurse in Queenstown who supported these books: thank you. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ’™

And to every nurse, healthcare professional, educator, student, colleague, friend and supporter who continues to stand behind this journey:

You are part of this story.

May we continue building a global nursing community where success is not something we keep to ourselves but something we use to open doors for others.

One nurse can inspire another.

One voice can encourage thousands.

And when nurses around the world begin lifting one another, a profession becomes a movement. ๐ŸŒ

Thank you for believing in the books.
Thank you for believing in ENAG.
Most importantly, thank you for believing in nurses.

Empower. Uplift. Recognise.

ENAG proudly recognises Dr. Jhessie L. Abella, Ph.D., RN, RM, CPSO, CLDP, for a professional journey defined by nursing education, leadership, research, community advocacy, professional development, and service.

From his early work in the Philippines as a College Coordinator, Midwifery Principal, and later Dean of Nursing/Department Head, to advancing into an international healthcare management role in Saudi Arabia, his career reflects continuous growth while remaining grounded in nursing and education.

What makes his contribution especially meaningful is how he translates professional achievement into opportunities for others.

Through his advocacy, Dr. Abella provides free research advisement and professional guidance to nurses pursuing advanced studies, helping them strengthen their research skills, academic confidence, and educational progress.
