AIPA was proud to again sponsor Safeskies 2026 in Canberra last week, with Rob Herweynen (S&T Manager), Disha Mehta (Senior In-House Lawyer) and Brian Greeves (S&T Consultant) representing AIPA across both days.

Safeskies Australia is an independent, not-for-profit dedicated to promoting aviation safety through education at its biennial conference and targeted events — and it's a forum AIPA has long been committed to supporting.

This year's theme was collaboration, reflected from the outset in the aviation policy group, which brought together the CASA Director of Air Safety, the CEO of Airservices Australia, the Deputy Secretary of the Department, and the Chief of the Air Force.
