Marmion Community Town Team We’re a volunteer Town Team working to make our streets vibrant, welcoming and full of life.

Marmion Community includes everyone who enjoys our school, parks and shops including neighbours from surrounding suburbs.

From ideas, to votes, to painting, to greening ... our Marmion Magic Mural is complete! 🩷🩶💚

This adventure was possible thanks to a Streets Alive, Main Roads Department grant. Research shows that people drive more slowly on interesting streets (who would have thought! 😯).

Thanks also to the City of Joondalup for their support with logistics and graffiti coating, our amazing artist Susan Respinger, Dulux for donating the paint, and our community for coming together to create magic! ✨

Together we've made Marmion a little brighter, a little greener, and a little safer.

Join us for our community planting day and receive an invite to the mural opening celebration party 🎉

Stage 1 complete! 🩷🩶 Stage 2, here we come 💚

Cooler weather has arrived and it's time to green the verge in front of our pink and grey galah mural 🌱

Big thanks to our volunteer legends 💚 3 hours of couch and w**d removal. Amazing effort!

✨ So much has happened in the last few days! ✨

Our Magic Mural is almost complete. Just a couple of final touches to come and it is truly more than we ever expected.

After our community voted for the Pink and Grey Galah, it has now come to life through the incredible talent of local artist Susan Respinger. What began as an idea has become something vibrant, joyful and uniquely ours.

Our Streets Alive grant also includes a verge greening component, and we’re excited to now embark on this next stage. Please keep an eye on the mural area along Sheppard Way as we continue transforming the space. 🌿

A huge thank you to the many community members who contributed through design ideas, voting, painting, lending a hand, stopping for a chat or a drive by thumbs up. It all matters!
