What is Rainbow Cow Project ? (Part 2)
Think "Big Banana" or "Big Lobster" etc.
But why stop at just a huge object?
RCP is about merging different aspects of the regions we are PROUD of into life sized or larger than life Art displays! Tourists will certainly make a stop or take that extra long drive to see the art displays!
We can also have artworks like these with WAR Hero's or Football or cricket legends that have come from or lived in the town...
Again this is not a new concept it's just a way to invite some new artists to have a fresh look at what has already been done in our Australian towns and to expand on it.
is just an attempt to inspire artists to come up with some new artworks to drive more tourists into town (Australia Wide) to learn more about the town, the people and the animals who reside or previously lived on the lands..

Think of a painted cow with a famous battle from WW-II painted on it and details of the soldiers who fought in the battle from the town!
Could be the face and storey of a local NRL player?
RCP Is NOT an original idea!
RCP is just a concept, an opportunity for regional and remote towns to expand on the current tourist attractions in their towns...it's a way to drive tourists into your general store, winery, petrol station, cafe etc
For example in our towns, I'd like to build on the current plain white and black Cow display by adding some new Cows painted as WAR MEMORIALS
eg. Could be the face of a WAR HERO and their storey....

Eg. Could be the face of a famous NRL player on a COW and a list of their achievements...
Also to add some KANGAROO'S with Indigenous Art, as well as maybe some sculptures of local BIRD'S with LGBT art..
It is just about merging some of the aspects of our towns that we are proud of into Art displays (ideally life sized or larger than life sized) to drive Tourists in to get an instagram selfie and learn about our towns!
