parkrun #86 29/08/26
Lots of happy parkrunners today with 60 crossing the finish line. Visitors from the UK, Tasmania, Darwin, Alice Springs, Sandgate, Gold Coast, Cardwell and Cairns joined us today. Glen has parkrun 658 times. What an amazing feat.
We had 4 registered First Time Ever at parkrun. Thank you for joining the parkrun family. You did so well on your first parkrun. Happy to have you start your journey with us.
If not registered, we can help with that. See someone in a vest. Once you have your person barcode you can parkrun anywhere in the world where parkruns are held.
Today Sarah reached her 50-parkrun milestone and Kaylene her 25th parkrun milestone.
Six parkrunners achieved their Personal Best. It is great to see our parkrunners setting their goals and seeing improvements over the weeks.
Thank you to our 14 wonderful volunteers. Again, this week was a bit stressful as essential roles were not filled until later in the week. We need all the Essential roles filled to hold a parkrun event.
Zebedee achieved his 10th volunteer milestone. He certainly has undertaken different roles over the past few weeks.
Check out the FB page every Tuesday evening for vacant roles. We all love our parkrun so volunteer when you can. All roles are easy and you are supported by the team.
Lots of spots to fill for next weekend. Many parkrunner volunteers are off to the Port Run so we need others to put up their hands this week,
