Day 8 - Port Augusta to Tanunda
After 8 incredible days we headed towards the 2025 SA Variety Bash finish line in Tanunda and to the end of our 2025 journey. It was a very short day today so not many photos. But what an amazing journey DOO has been on. An exciting, tiring, fun very dusty at times and testing on the DOO car experience that one cannot understand until you have done a bash. A huge thank you goes out to all the Officials that organised and made this event happen and the MW’s who kept us moving forward. Cheers to all the teams who supported us and made this experience truly amazing, some great friendships and memories were made. Last of all a massive thankyou goes out to all who supported us, our sponsors, our friends and our families, without you guys we could not have made such a huge impact on the vulnerable children here in S.A through Variety the Children’s Charity.

Day 7 - Glendambo to Port Augusta
A bit of car trouble again today, the bash protection plate under the car came loose on one corner and started to drag along the ground and buckled up a bit. The fantastic MW’s were there in minutes to help us get it sorted. They removed the whole plate, bashed out the buckled bit and then put it back. We had a quick stop off at the Salt Lakes where we did a team photo shoot then headed into Port Augusta.

Day 6 - Coober Pedy to Glendambo
What a beautiful sunrise we woke up to this morning in Coober Pedy followed by breakfast at the Big Winch. We then headed to Coober Pedy Area School for a quick visit with the students. Next was a very dusty drive through cattle station country, a stop at Twin Peaks Station for lunch and a fun stop at Mt Eba Station along the way. We ended the day with a schnitty night at the Glendambo Pub.
