Canberra Lapidary Club Inc For people to learn and share information about rocks, minerals, fossils, gems and associated crafts.

The Club has workshops and meeting facilities where instruction courses are held in cabochon and opal cutting, jewellery making, faceting, silversmithing, wire wrapping, mosaics, learning mineral and gemmology and more (there is a charge for courses and a small fee for workshop use). Only a small yearly membership fee (single or family) opens a world of opportunities into the art of lapidary incl

uding a day trip once a month. Visitors and new members are always welcome at monthly meetings, which are held on the second Thursday of each month (except January) at the Clubhouse. At these meetings there is a guest speaker, discussion of Club affairs and exhibits or demonstrations, followed by a light supper. The Club holds a rock swap and several gem shows every year.
