Welcome the Lismore and Villages Relay For Life Official page! Our next Lismore & Villages Relay for Life event will be held on 19th March 2022, with registrations to opening soon.

2022 marks 20years of Relay in Lismore!!! Why we Relay: To raise money for those affected by Cancer and to put it back into the community through other events, programs, support networks, information centres,

transportation and accommodation necessities for patients and carers. A great spot to get all the info, fun events we have planned, post your pics, get fundraising ideas, ask questions and more. Relay For Life is a community event where teams participate in a relay-style walk or run to raise funds for Cancer Council. The event brings the whole community together for a night of fun, entertainment, celebration and remembrance. Each Relay For Life event is organised by a local volunteer organising committee on behalf of Cancer Council. CELEBRATE | REMEMBER | FIGHT BACK

Celebrate - Local survivors and carers are invited to walk the first lap of the track while the rest of us cheer them on. Remember - The Candlelight Ceremony of HOPE is held at dusk to Remember those lost to cancer. Candles are placed in paper bags lovingly inscribed with messages from family and friends. These candles are placed around the track to encourage us all to remember those who lost the fight and be inspired to keep going. Fight Back! - Let's do what we can as a community to fight back against cancer.

Our Story

Welcome the Lismore and Villages Relay For Life Official page! The Lismore & Villages Relay For Life is more than just a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to get together with our community and celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.

Relay For Life is a unique overnight event where teams of 10 to 15 (or more!) friends, families or colleagues challenge themselves to take turns to keep a baton moving in a Relay style walk or run overnight. There are no age limitations or fitness requirements – Relay For Life is suitable for everyone and anyone can join in the fun!

Stay for the whole event, camp overnight, or just visit and enjoy the free entertainment, prizes and ceremonies that make the Lismore & Villages Relay For Life so inspirational.

There are bands and music to keep you moving, a variety of food to build up your energy, entertainment for the kids and teams are encouraged to theme their outfits and tents. It is a very social weekend!
