Today we gathered at the Shrine of Remembrance, marking 110 years since the first Anzac march in 1916 and 111 years since the Gallipoli Landing. Every year Hec Sebire has the honour to help Veterans, who are no longer able to march, still join in the parade. We thank the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and the civilians in and those who are still fighting or on peacekeeping missions. We also invested Kenzie into our unit!

HEC’s Kitchan Season 2, Episode 1.

Last night we held a Hell’s Kitchen spinoff at our hall run by Bec, two teams split up to create a 3 course meal in 70 minutes. Teams were tested with hygiene, cleanliness, taste, teamwork and presentation with challenges along the way! We had a lot of fun!

Hec Sebire Rover Unit are on the hunt for a passionate and motivated Rover Advisor to help guide our awesome group of young adults (18–25) on their Scouting adventures! 🏕️✨

As a Rover Advisor, you’ll mentor and support our members as they plan adventures, community projects, and leadership challenges. It’s all about teamwork, personal growth, and having a great time while shaping the next generation of leaders. 🙌

We’re after someone who:
✅ Loves working with young people

✅ Communicates well and leads with empathy

✅ Embraces the Rover spirit of service and adventure

Scouting experience is great — but not essential! Just bring your enthusiasm, energy, and sense of adventure.

Last weekend Hec Sebire helped organise and run a wedding for an ex venturer leader and an ex guide (we love guide and scout relations!). We started preparations earlier in the year planning with the brides. Over the course of 3 days we set up, served, babysat, celebrated and packed up the wedding. We loved every part of it and wish the newly weds a happy adventure!
