In addition to all else, our hard working volunteer members will be working tirelessly during the evening, cooking up steak sandwiches, our world famous 🦁 Lion 🦁 Burgers 🍔, dim sims and more… 🌭 🍟 …. as well as ice creams and cold soft drinks & bottled waters. Come along and see the new year of 2026 in good ole Aussie style. 🐴 🎆 🥘 🍸

NEW YEARS EVE is fast approaching once again.
Some key details for the event
• Gates will be closed at 9.30pm (this decision has been made to ease the load of our volunteers who stand on the gate from 4.30pm onwards).
• 3 alcoholic drinks per person allowed.
• Light snacks and refreshments are allowed.
• There will be fireworks at Midnight only. We would love to put on early fireworks as well, but we simply cannot with the horses being on track.
• There will be NO on track ATM.
The club do understand that in previous years people were able to BYO alcohol, but the club can simply not afford to put this event on for the community without capping this.
This event cost a substantial amount of money to put on for everyone, with the club only making money of gate and bar sales to cover the costs.

We do our best to keep it as affordable for everyone to enjoy, hence why the gate prices will continue to remain the same.
The club thanks everyone for their understanding and can't wait for a great night.

‼️WHAT'S ON AT THE SHOW? ‼️

Please see below a schedule for this year's show.

On Friday, we'll have our Arts and Crafts and Cattle Pavilions open for everyone to see some great local talent - whether the talent is holding a paintbrush, or holding a 300kg steer! Our Animal Nursery will also be running for the little kids in the Jelbart pavilion so don't forget to go have a look.

While wandering around the Show, make sure to also check out the Reptile show, which will be running at intervals throughout the day.

We'll follow that up with a walk through Sideshow Alley to jump on some rides, and then in the evening we'll have our V8 Trackskill Ute Shows - these are professional drivers showing some incredible skill. The earlier (6.30pm) show is great for kids, featuring sibling Utes Harry and Carly (with Harry thinking himself a bit of a Lightning McQueen). The later show will be more of a high-octane relay race, perfect for the big kids (and kids at heart).

Then we'll end the show for the night with a fantastic fireworks display!

On Saturday, we'll once again have all of our pavilions open - and our Horticulture pavilion will be brimming with the best flowers from gardens around the region.

If you missed it on Friday, don't forget the Animal Nursery and Reptile shows.

Our Horse Show will be running from 7am to 12pm in the main arena - check it out if you want to see some equestrian skill!

We're also very excited to bring back the Woodchop - from 10.30am to 4.30pm Saturday, located behind the grandstand.

Then our nighttime entertainment will once again feature V8 Trackskill Entertainment at 6.30 and 7.45pm, followed by the Ute Barrel Race at approx 8.10pm - which was a big hit with the crowd last year (don't forget to come to the Show office to enter if you think you'd be the quickest on the barrel racing track in your ute - there are great prizes up for grabs).

Then we'll say farewell with a boom as we enjoy our amazing fireworks show again at 9pm.

Hope to see you all there, tickets can be pre-purchased at www.ticketebo.com.au/alburyshow
