A Sporting Chance is an initiative that uses sports as a means to address the infrastructural needs faced by schools in disadvantaged communities. The initiative culminates in charity sports tournaments, with the funds raised going towards the building of desks, chairs, blackboards and other classroom equipment in schools across the country. The mission of A Sporting Chance is to effectively use s

port as a vehicle to raise awareness on the need for improved infrastructure in schools in disadvantaged communities and raise funds to support the infrastructural needs of those schools. Our vision is a school system where every classroom has the most basic learning infrastructure; a blackboard, and a desk-to-student ratio of 1 to 2 in compliance with UN recommendations.
