The Listening Projects

The Listening Projects We build social cohesion in schools. Young Australians are the loneliest generation. Simple and effective.

We combat isolation by building micro-communities where every voice is heard, developing empathy from an early age through listening.

Great to catch up with Jo Palmer MLC Minister for Education.

Despite our world being so connected through social media, loneliness is one of our biggest issues.

So great to join Ben from The Listening Project at Neighbourhoodlaunceston in Trevallyn and talk about his listening mat.

65 people in the room last night for a warm night at Du Cane . Here is a selection of the 10 storytellers we had last night. The stories ranged from Ali Baba, to poison apples, hiking Federation Peak, Billy the worker, a marriage proposal, a magical Celtic harp. a friends love, memories of South Africa, inappropriate Pommie bashing, coming to Australia and Brits abroad!

It was a great, if a little warm evening.

We hope you can join us next month. Here is the link below.
