Did you know the first waqf the Prophet ﷺ established was a garden owned by a Jewish man? 🌿

Mukhayriq an ally of the Prophet ﷺ was martyred at Uhud. He left behind his seven gardens to the Prophet ﷺ, who declared them a waqf for the sake of Allah.

The fruits of that garden? Given solely to the poor of Madinah.
