Lions Club of Kyabram members with Kyabram District Health Services Renal department staff with the two Renal Dialysis chairs recently installed at KDHS.
The Kyabram and District Memorial Hospital Auxiliary raised funds to purchase one chair and KDHS purchased the other chair, Lions Club of Kyabram donated funds to both the KDHS and the Auxiliary to assist with the cost of these much needed chairs.
Lions Club of Kyabram have a longstanding connection with both KDHS and the Auxiliary, regularly donating funds to ensure that the equipment and care received at KDHS is as good as it can be.
Lions Club members said how good it was to see where the money raised, and donated, actually goes to. These chairs are much needed, very practical and will make it so much more comfortable for the patients.

Lions Club of Kyabram members helped clean up the bitumen paths at Kyabram Fauna Park this morning, a legacy of the current & ongoing cockatoo plague.
Hazelman’s Cottage is looking great with the constant work being done by the volunteers of the Kyabram Historical Society, many of the Park’s visitors comment on this asset, saying that it complements their experience.

If you have left your Christmas shopping until the very last minute, you may still be in luck!
There are only a few Lions Christmas Cakes available - you may be able to purchase a cake from GMCU or Bendigo Bank, as of 1.00 pm they are the only outlets that still have a cake, and, together with Albion Fruit & Vegetables, they also have puddings!

A big “thank you” to the outlets that have supported Lions Club of Kyabram again this year - your continued support is very much appreciated!👍
Fitzgerald’s Farm Fresh Meats - much more than just a butcher’s shop!
Bendigo Bank & GMCU - our alternatives to the big banks, local people!
Albion Fruit & Vegetables - local family business providing local produce!

Thank you to everyone who has purchased a Lions Christmas Cakes or Pudding this year, your support means that we are able to continue our support of our Community.

Merry Christmas to all 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎅🧑‍🎄

First Kyabram Scouts put on an amazing Christmas Lunch today for the people of Kyabram. Proudly supported by Lions Club of Kyabram together with KCLC and many more individuals and organisations who donated goods and funds to enable the lunch to happen.
The meal was enjoyed by 140 people in 2 sittings, included take home meals.
Kyabram Scouts leaders, together some expert helpers, cooked and plated the meals which were then delivered to the tables by the Scouts.
What an amazing way for our youth to be involved in such a needy community event, well done to First Kyabram Scouts for taking the initiative!

Ross Abberfield - Goulburn Murray Valley Regional Fruit Fly Coordinator also attended providing locals with additional information on how to eradicate this pest.
Pictured are Lions members with Ross and also with a long time supporter of the program Greg Rossborough from Tongala who had his traps re baited.
The program continues in February with another opportunity to get traps or have your traps re baited, keep an eye out in Kyabram Community Connections and Kyabram Free Press for details.
