Kilcoy Showgirl & Rural Ambassador

CHANGE OF DIRECTION ............. after discussions with other Agricultural Show Societies, the decision has been made to move the Kilcoy Showgirl and Rural Ambassador awards to the Kilcoy Show.

What does this mean - there will no longer be a Gala evening, instead the judging will be completed Friday 25th July and presentation of the awards will be on Saturday 26th July at the Grand Opening of the Kilcoy Show.

Together with the Kilcoy Show and Kilcoy Rodeo we would like to advise the QLD Country Life Showgirl and Rural Ambassador Awards will be held for the Kilcoy Sub-Branch on the evening of the 10th May 2025. Make sure you get your applications in to be apart of this great venture.

Showgirls, an entrant can be any woman who is a permanent resident of Queensland and aged between 18 & 28 years.
Rural Ambassador, an entrant can be any permanent resident of Queensland and aged between 20 & 30 years.

Rural Ambassador:
The Queensland Rural Ambassador Awards is the preeminent rural and agricultural leadership program for men and women aged between 20 and 30. Run by Queensland Ag Shows since 2003, the Queensland Rural Ambassador Awards allow young people to promote Queensland, agriculture, rural communities and show societies, while providing an avenue for local communities and Ag Shows to recognise, celebrate and develop future leaders.

The Kilcoy Show Society in conjunction with the Kilcoy Rodeo Committee will be holding the 2025 Kilcoy Rural Ambassador awards on May 10th 2025. Applications can be printed from the below website or obtained from Elyse Christie at Nutrien Harcourts Realestate Kilcoy located beside CJ's Bakery.
