Kiama Art Society Kiama Art Society established 1966 Kiama Art Society is a vibrant and active society . Today the Kiama Art Society has over 250 members .

It was founded in 1966 as a result of the Hartwell House coachhouse being kindly donated to the society . The Coachouse Gallery is still in use today for monthly painting demonstrations , workshops , children's classes , life drawing and committee meetings . Several member's exhibitions are held at the popular Firestation , Terralong Street , Kiama . The Kiama Art Society annual exhibition is held

We have an exciting workshop coming up in July! Local artist, Jenny McIntosh will be holding her ‘Painting Streetscapes in Oils: Light, Shadow and Colour Temperature’ 2 day workshop at the KAS Coach House on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July. Kathy Karas is holding a wonderful 2 Day Watercolour Workshop on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st June in the Kiama Art Society Coachhouse. Members and Non- members welcome! Kathy is great at introducing new media and techniques in her workshops and this one is no exception - you will paint on an aluminium substrate. Promises to be one not to be missed! Kiama Art Society member, Andrew McPhail held a fabulous Demonstration in May at the Coachhouse and also had a successful exhibition at the Old Kiama Fire Station Gallery recently.
