1 July Monday night, President Pam, Michael Stillwell and of course Jonathan from RCK, went to the Rotary Club of Canterbury’s Changeover dinner, where Jonathan’s wife Elizabeth became President. The theme for the night was the many colours of Rotary and good to see the effort made by some of the 64 attendees. These attendees included the following guests Jonathan Shepherd and members of Pres Elizabeths family; Newly appointed DG Michael Lapina and his son Alex; outgoing AG Charles Tran; Michael Stillwell - incoming RCL for our community; Amelia Hamer - Liberal party candidate for the seat of Kooyong; Cr. Lisa Hollingsworth - Mayor of Boroondara; George De Souza - President of sister club Camberwell and his wife Fulvia; Russell Jones outgoing President of sister club Balwyn; Doug's (and PE Tony's) friend Neil Hollingsworth and Eugene Fitzwilliam. President Pam is look forward to having some combined activities with Canterbury.

A note from 2023-2024 President Kim Wen:

And just like that, my year as Rotary Kew President is over. Thank you for trusting me to lead the 2023-2024 Rotary year. I couldn't imagine passing the torch to anyone but Pam Norton.

I'm proud of what we've accomplished this year. Together, we created, restored & healed hope by continuing what we do best, by remaining open and willing to change, and by keeping our focus on building peace in the world and within ourselves.

I'm optimistic we've achieved all we set out to do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your efforts to a Magic Rotary year.

Here's to creating Magic in the world! 🌷

Tonight’s Rotary Club of Glenferrie’s Changeover was held at the Kooyong Tennis Club. Outgoing President Mark Howlett handed over to Incoming President Peter Moore. DGE Michael Lapina, Cr Susan Biggar, Ted Baillieu, Former Premier of Victoria were there. Thanks our outstanding MC Ian Salek (94.1FM The Rotary & Community Service Radio Show). Congratulations to Paul Shekleton, Joanne Shentu, Rod Smith & Lynette Spencer for the Paul Harris Fellow Recongition for 2023-24. Tonight’s Rotary Club of Balwyn Changeover was held at the Green Acres Golf Club. Outgoing President Russell Jones handed over to Incoming President Ian Davidson. DGE Michael Lapina, MP Jess Wilson, Cr Felicity Sinfield, the Deputy Mayor of Boroondara also attended. Thanks our wonderful MC Paula Fenwick.
