Today we commemorated the 25th Anniversary of Australian Service in Afghanistan 🇦🇺

It was an honour to represent Tim Mander at the solemn service held by the Gaythorne RSL Sub Branch.

The Australian flag raised at the memorial was a very special one that once flew where Australian men and women served in Kabul.

Today we remember all those who served in this conflict and especially the 47 members of the Australian defence force who lost their lives in the service of our country.

The Albanese Government just banned credit card surcharges. But it’s small businesses who will have to absorb them!

At the same time the ATO have decided they won’t absorb credit card fees and from 1 November no one will be able to pay their tax via credit card.

One rule for Canberra bureaucracies, another rule for local small businesses!

Taxes, regulation and the cost of living are killing small businesses across our community.

That’s what we heard at our Small Business Roundtable at The Gap with Shadow Treasurer Tim Wilson MP on Friday.

That’s why a Coalition Government will:

✅ Axe Labor’s changes to Capital Gains Tax – the start-up tax.

✅ Axe Labor’s 30 per cent minimum tax on trusts – the small business tax.

✅ Axe Labor’s negative gearing changes – a housing tax.
