North Beach Shopping Centre has all you need, including cheap plants for home and garden, books (great reads for dads) and a super raffle.

🌞 Sunshine and little breeze yesterday; perfect for the Chevron City to Surf event.
⏰ An early start for eight members who arrived at dawn to man the car parking, taking gold coin donations to boost the event fundraising. So many excited participants, families, individuals, and teams.

🏃🏃‍♀️ It's short and sharp as everyone needs to be parked up ready for the 8am start.

☕ Then it's coffee time and a great opportunity to catch up.

📅 North Beach Lions Club has a very busy few months ahead and would welcome some extra pairs of hands. Volunteering with us give you the chance to meet us and see what we get up to. We have social events too.

🦁 This October, local Lions Clubs are bringing together a wide range of health, wellbeing and community organisations for a Health & Wellness Expo, giving residents the opportunity to access trusted information, services and advice all in one place.
Its for all ages, with activities for the kids and refreshments available.

🦁 Best of all, entry is free. Come along, have a chat with the experts, discover local services and take home information that could make a difference to you or someone you know.

Who would love to gift their Dad a dinner for four at Parliament House? Or maybe he's more of a beer and BBQ man? Both are prizes up for grabs in our Father's Day Raffle.

North Beach Lions Club will be selling tickets at North Beach Shopping Centre this Saturday along with a great selection of plants for the home and garden, and some great pre-loved books.

The renovations to the North Beach Bowling Club are progressing nicely but the main room is still unavailable. For Tuesday's meeting, we will make use of the smaller, foyer area instead.

Our speaker this month is from Local Guardians, a homecare management group. She will tell us about government funded in home care, your choices and maintaining control.

With several events coming up there will be a 'bit of business' to get through but ALL are welcome to come along and see what we get up to. 7pm for 7.15pm.

We had the absolute privilege of helping out at the group in Bayswater yesterday.

Every Friday 600+ sandwiches are made in preparation for distribution in the City on Sunday. Fruit, jelly and custard cups are also prepared - a favourite with those who receive them.

There are regular volunteers, but PHSG always welcome others who would like to help out; individuals or a teams.

On Wednesdays, from 10-12, they require help with their 'Busy Bees', sorting through and organising various donations that they receive.

One child. One family. One community making a difference. 💙💛

North Beach Lions Club was honoured to help a local Duncraig family by contributing towards a Petra RaceRunner through the Lions Children's Mobility Foundation.

This amazing piece of equipment will help a young boy build strength, confidence and independence while allowing him to enjoy more activities with his family and participate in a local RaceRunning group.

We often support projects that benefit many people, but sometimes it's incredibly rewarding to know that our fundraising has directly changed the life of one local child.

Thank you to everyone who buys a sausage sizzle, purchases raffle tickets or supports our events. Your generosity is making a real difference in our own community. 💙🦁💛
