On Saturday 25 April, the community will come together and pay tribute to the first Anzacs, and the brave servicemen and servicewomen who have since followed in their footsteps.

You can commemorate on Anzac Day by attending:
👉 A local service
👉 The NSW Dawn Service in Martin Place from 4.20am
👉 The Sydney CBD March on Elizabeth Street from 9am
👉 The Commemoration Service at the Anzac Memorial in Hyde Park at 12.30pm
👉Watching the ABC Telecast from 4.20am

Lanal (Lan) George WILSON NSWPF and was a peacekeeper with UNFICYP AUSCIVPOL 8th Contingent 1971-1972

Passed peacefully at Dunedoo MPS on 24 August 2022.

He was the NSWPF Officer stationed at Dunedoo for 30 odd years

VALE D/SGT Warren STEWART

With much sadness I advise the members that former Detective Sergeant Warren Stewart passed away early this morning after a short battle with cancer. He was 73.
Warren spent most of his career in Eastern Region where he worked at the airport, also in the Drug Unit and Surveillance.
He worked as part of the intervention in the NT and also served overseas in East Timor, the Sudan and the Solomon Islands.
Prior to joining the AFP he served in the Royal Australian Navy and was deployed to Vietnam during Vietnam War. Vale my friend and comrade.

RIP Neil Plumb
2 Cont UNFICYP
We have received an email from member David Williams, advising of the passing of one of his 2nd contingent mates, Neil David Plumb.
Neil was a member of the 2nd Contingent UNCIVPOL 1965/1966. He was formerly a member of the NT Police and represented NT in Cyprus.
He attained the rank of Assistant Commissioner, NT Police.
His funeral was held on Friday 13th February at Lakeview Chapel, Albany Creek Memorial Park
