Wow… what a night 💛

Over 200 people came together for Shine On Goldfields and it was nothing short of beautiful. The clouds cleared just in time and we were gifted the most incredible sunset as we walked side by side.

Thank you to every single person who showed up, purchased a candle, and braved one of the first cold nights of the year to walk together.

Thank you for sharing stories, for remembering, for supporting, and for simply being there.

Because of you, we are able to support local families through the Goldfields Family Assistance Trust, helping kids who need to travel to Perth for medical treatment.

A special thank you to the Rotary Club of Boulder for standing beside us and helping make this all possible.

This is what community looks like.
This is what it means to shine a light. ✨

Until we light up the Goldfields and walk together for cancer.

This walk is for everyone. A chance to come together to support those currently fighting, to remember those we have lost, and to walk alongside those who have faced this journey.

Shine On Goldfields is more than just a walk. It is a moment to come together, to remember, and to quietly stand beside those who are doing it tough.

Rae Hutchinson is walking for Nick Fardell, whose vision helped bring this event to life. Last year she walked with him. This year she walks for him. Stories like this are at the heart of what Shine On Goldfields means.

We know that cancer has touched so many lives in our community. Some people want to share their story. Some people carry it quietly. If you feel comfortable, we invite you to share your story with us. If not, simply being there is enough. This walk is about knowing you are not alone.

Join us at Karlkurla Park on Wednesday 6th May at 5:15pm.

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Walk in memory, in support, or just to stand alongside others who understand.

Let’s continue to shine a light for those we love.
