Adventure Crew

Adventure Crew Stu and Dee are fundraising for Country Hope a local charity in the Riverina. The reason behind our drive in 2025 is our Granddaughter Mia.

After an unbeliveable experiance last year we have entered in the Riverina Outback Rally 2026. Team Adventure Crew are from Jindera - a small country town just outside of Albury. We are raising funds for a local Riverina charity "County Hope" which is very close to our hearts. Mia was 4.5 months old when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. She celebrated her first Christmas and h

er first birthday at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. After a long 10 months at RCH our girl was able to come home. May 2025 will be 10 years since Mia was diagnosed. Now Mia is a very happy girl full of life and love. Country Hope were there to help out our family through our darkest time, as they do with so many local families. It's our turn to give back. Even nearly 10 years later, Mia attends an Art Class run by Country Hope every Tuesday afternoon. This class is for children who are or have been through cancer treatment. It is so important for these young kids as they realise that they are not the only ones to have been dealt a bad hand. This page is to follow our journey toward this awesome Riverina Outback Rally, and our steps toward becoming the 'Adventure Crew.' We will post progress getting our wheels ready, fundraising milestones, and our 5 day adventure in March 2025! You can sponsor us and leave a message by selecting the link in contact details. Thanks for following and supporting our efforts in raising money for this cause!

Wow what a year! As the 2025-2026 Riverina Outback Rally comes to a close we would like to thank everyone for your support.

Our amazing sponsors whom most came back for a second year to help push the tally up. To everyone who made donations and to all those who bought raffle tickets, chocolates and cakes no matter how big or small it has all has helped Adventure Crew achieve a huge amount of $21,820 this year. Wow this total blows us away!!!

A big thank you to everyone and all the businesses who donated fantastic raffle prizes. 22 prizes in total! Everyone that won a prize were extremely happy with what they got.

The total amount raised for Country Hope from all the teams who took part in the10th Riverina Outback Rally 2026 was $571,000. This is a huge amount that goes towards helping so many families in the Riverina that get that awful news that no parent needs to hear "Your child has cancer or a life threatening illness"

Adventure Crew will be back for the 2026-2027 Riverina Outback Rally. Gav and Tam need to get back on their feet before the registrations open and we will be able to start fundraising again in the new financial year.

We thank our amazing sponsors. We cannot do what we do without you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Hi all
We have heard that you couldn’t hear Stu so here is a recap.
We set off from Sandy Creek this morning.
Along the way through winding dirt roads we came across another grid which was on a left hand turn.
1st car went through all good
2nd car miss read and ended up taking out posts and fence and stopped half on the grid.
3rd car missed the 2nd car going over grid but then just stopped
Keep in mind these tracks are very dusty our flashing lights are all we see sometimes.
We came around the bend had nowhere to go but hit him at the back end. He soon moved and we found a spot and found the radiator was gone.
2nd car broken back light
1st car written off

Being part of a rally is an amazing group. As soon as we were in another car (ours on trailer) and we had service a radiator was found and replaced at the pub at lunch time.

We need to assess the car when we get home. We are ok. Have driven to Tamworth as we needed a comfy bed and a good shower after the day we had.
As you can see Stu is buggered and already asleep. Oh dear I am in trouble tomorrow

I will post more photos over the weekend.
