Thanks you to the Y Schools for the share! We are very excited to be partnering in this project with you. 😍

🌟 We are so grateful to Rotary Satellite Club Ipswich City Western Corridor for organising a work wear donation drive for students at our Ipswich campus 🙏💙.

They are looking for donations of clothing from all sizes, including - jackets, blouses, pants, shirts, skirts, dresses, shoes, bags, and even non-company branded trade workwear.

The project is aimed at helping students with an outfit to help them be competitive at interviews and fit into workplaces with ease, providing a much-needed bank of work appropriate and interview clothes.

Donations can be made at either the Ipswich City Rotary meeting on Wednesday Nov 5, their meeting at Yamanto Tavern on Thursday 6th Nov at 6.30pm, or anytime during the week of 3-7 November directly to Y School Ipswich at 98 Limestone St Ipswich.

The ICWC satellite club have finalised the details for our first project. We are doing a work wear clothing drive for the students of Y School Ipswich.

This will project will provide a much needed bank of work appropriate/interview clothes for students who have disengaged from traditional schooling and working towards reengagement and successful post school outcomes into employment or further study. This project will help students with an outfit to help them be competitive at interviews and fit into workplaces with ease.

We are asking rotary members and the wider Ipswich community to go through their wardrobes and find quality work appropriate clothes that maybe don't quite fit anymore or are no longer in the weekly work rotation.

We are looking for clothes from across the sizing charts including - jackets, blouses, pants, shirts, skirts, dresses, shoes, bags and even non company branded work trade workwear.

If members could bring their donations to either the Ipswich City Rotary meeting on Wednesday Nov 5 or to our meeting at Yamanto Tavern on Thursday 6th Nov at 6.30pm or anytime during the week of 3-7 November directly to Y School Ipswich at 98 Limestone St Ipswich.

If you are interested in Rotary or want to know more about this weeks guest speakers project please come along this Thursday 31st July 6.30pm for a 7pm start at Yamanto Tavern (in the little private room).

This week Ipswich City Youth Committee are presenting on the 2025 Tuff Kids Triathlon. We encourage as many young people as possible to engage and come along to the Tuff Kids event.
