Inverell Public School P&C Association Welcome to the Inverell Public School P&C page. The IPS P&C is a great way to support your child’s education.

We aim to provide information on what the P&C are doing, canteen news, upcoming fundraisers and how you can get involved. Parents and community members meet twice a term to discuss how the school community can work together to provide opportunities for the students in our school. The Principal attends the P&C meetings and provides the opportunity for discussion about any issues that may affect you

r child’s education and their time spent at Inverell Public School. The School Canteen is an important part of the school and is operated by the IPS P&C with the aim of providing high quality healthy snacks, recess and lunch meals to the school community at reasonable cost and within the budget of most families. The IPS P&C’s major fundraisers are the Bi-annual School Concert and the Walkathon. The IPS P&C also runs Mother’s and Father’s Day stalls and various raffles throughout the year. In the past, fundraising by the P&C has assisted the school by:
• purchasing interactive whiteboards
• purchasing red blazers for school representatives to wear at formal functions
• purchasing curtains and blinds for classrooms/school hall
• undertaking landscaping
• purchasing playground equipment
• funding sunsafe hats for Kindergarten enrolments
• funding of icy poles and drinks for sporting events
• funding an extensive upgrade of the Kindergarten to Year 2 playground area and sandpit area
• shared funding for the installation of covered bus walkway and extension of the bus shelter
• sound system in the hall

IPS P&C meetings are held Thursday evenings at 6.30pm in Week 3 and Week 8 of each term (unless otherwise communicated), in the school staff room. If you can’t attend meetings, you can become involved in other ways such as cooking barbecues, helping out on various stalls, attending working bees or volunteering in the canteen. The IPS P&C values and appreciates your views and contributions. If you can spare a little time and would like to become more involved in our wonderful school community, we would love to see you at our next meeting.

We're reaching out to ask for your support as the IPS P&C Canteen prepares for a busy period ahead!

🏈 North West Primary Touch Football - Tues 23 June
🧸 Teddy Bears Picnic - Thurs 25 June
🪃 NAIDOC Celebrations - Fri 26 June
🏃‍♂️ IPS Primary (Yrs 3-6) Athletics Carnival - Fri 27 July

We will be operating canteens at both the NW Touch Football and IPS Athletics events, while continuing regular operations at school. To make this possible, we need volunteers - No experience necessary, just a willingness to help!

🙌 Volunteers are essential so every parent and carer has the opportunity to enjoy watching their child/ren participate.

🕒 Whether you can spare 30mins, an hour, or the whole day, we'd love to hear from you!
