A very moving ANZAC Day service was held this morning at I.S.A Park Inala, proudly hosted by Lions Club of Inala, PAWS for Hope & Understanding INC., and The Blue Fin Fishing Club with the strong support of Glenala State High School.
With MC Bob Richards guiding the service, Pastor Rich Priebbenow from Nations Church Forest Lake undertaking the prayer, and guest speaker Cindy Whitby (MSA) and all guest. The morning was both respectful and deeply meaningful. Despite the weather, President Kylie Gates, alongside Secretary Lion Nayda Hernandez and Treasure John Moynihan, stood with the community, schools, and local residents to honour the occasion by laying a wreath while others layed a cross or flag.
The spirit of the ANZACs was on display. A powerful reflection of courage, sacrifice, service, and community.
Special thanks to Glenala State High School, St Marks School, Australian Air League Cadets, The Blue Fin Fishing Club, Donelle’s Gift Garden & Florist, Need a Hand?, and especially Lions club of Inala volunteers and members (Mandeep, Carol, Clara, Lean, Les, Thoa) who helped make the service so meaningful.
Thank you to everyone who attended and paid their respects.
Lest We forget 🙏
