Learn. Connect. Discover.

The Stawell English Program is expanding in Term 4, with a stronger focus on English language development, settlement, orientation and community connection.

The free 10-week program will be delivered on Sundays at Stawell Neighbourhood House, with the support of Thomas Foods International. A new partnership with Stawell Library and Northern Grampians Shire Council will supplement the Sunday English classes with practical Wednesday 'Out & About' sessions.

Classes commence Sunday 4 October at Stawell Neighbourhood House. During launch week, Stawell Library will welcome students and assist with enrolment on Wednesday 7, Thursday 8 and Friday 9 October.

A reminder to be safe on Australian Roads this weekend everyone 😊

The Lions want a three-peat. Freo wants Wharfie Time. We want every Victorian to get home safely.

This weekend, Operation Scoreboard will see a highly visible police presence right across Victoria, with a major focus on drink and drug driving.

Almost 1,000 motorists have been caught driving under the influence over the Grand Final long weekend in the past four years, with many detections occurring on Grand Final Saturday.

Whether you're heading away, hosting a barbecue or celebrating with mates, plan ahead. Never get behind the wheel impaired, stick to the speed limit and take regular breaks on longer drives.

If you're travelling this weekend, expect to see police anywhere, anytime.
