Come see the Hellenic dancers perform this Sunday on the road at our annual Greek festival on Federal Street!

We perform at 11:40 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.

The Hellenic Dancers of Tasmania will be doing Kalanda this year, with all proceeds going towards the Philoptohos to help purchase new furniture for St George Church.

We will be in the Sandy Bay area on Tuesday 16th December from 6:00 pm onwards, and on the Eastern Shore on Thursday 18th December.

If you would like us to come to your home and sing Greek carols, please send us a message and we’ll see you then 😊🎄

Hi everyone,

The Hellenic Dancers of Tasmania are having a workshop from this Friday 26th September to Sunday the 28th by Nick Papaefthimiou from GCM (Greek Community Melbourne). Dancers will be from Islands & Asia minor, Epirus, western Macedonia, central & eastern Macedonia, Thrace 🇬🇷.

Bring your kids along if they’d like to experience some fun Greek dancing and adults are always more than welcome to join in too! You’re welcome to participate with any age group you feel comfortable in, and we can’t wait to see as many of you there as possible!

For the 3 days there is a fixed price of $30 whether you do all 3 days or 1. We will be doing workshops in the Hellenic Hall!

Below are the times of each of our age groups:

Friday
Junior 4:30-5:30 (7 years below)
Intermediate- 5:30-6:30 (8-13 years)
Senior - 6:30-8:30 (13 years and older)

Saturday
9:00-11:00 - 9 YEARS AND UNDER
11:00-1:00 - 10 YEARS AND OLDER
The grand final is on Saturday but if anyone wants to stay back and learn anything your more than welcome

Sunday
Juniors 10-12 (7 years below)
Intermediate 1:00-3:00 (8-13 years)
Seniors 3:00-6:00 (13 years and older)
