1. Unfortunately, we cannot repair coffee machines (they need specialist components, & tend to be very time-consuming)
2. We cannot replace zips (very time-consuming) but we CAN attempt to fix the current zip
3. Our sewing volunteers do not do alterations (but we have a list of local alteration services)
4. Where possible, bring your own parts; or threads to match clothing repair; or preferred wool colour for darning, e.g. jumpers, socks.
5. Bring what's needed so that the volunteer-repairer can check the item, e.g., for a cassette player, bring a cassette; CD player, bring a CD; television, bring the remote control!
6. Please CLEAN the item to be repaired, otherwise repairers will not be able to work on the item.
