The Heathcote Lions have been out & about delivering 2026 calendars to residents in town.
Thanks to the CFA for their assistance.
Calendars are available at the Visitor Information Centre & the Bowling Club for those out of town who would like to collect.

Not many sleeps to go now 🎅
Lions Club Christmas cakes & puddings are available to purchase at McIvor Meats, Bendigo Bank, Mitre 10 and the Visitor Info Centre.
The Heathcote Lions Club would like to, once again, thank these local businesses for their support.

The Heathcote Lions Club are very pleased to be able to continue their support of Grade 6 children at the local primary schools as they embark on their secondary school journies.
This week, Dave had the pleasure of presenting two students at Heathcote Primary & two students at Holy Rosary with a financial gift to be used to assist with some of the expenses of starting secondary school.
We wish all our graduating students the best of luck in the next stage of their education.

The Heathcote Lions Club are pleased to announce that a water fountain has been installed on the O'Keefe Rail Trail. The fountain has been funded by the Heathcote Lions and we hope that community members & visitors alike avail themselves of the opportunity to have a drink or top up their water bottle as they are out & about.

The Heathcote branch of the Lions Club may be small in number but makes significant contributions to our local community.

The branch was happy to donate $10,000 to the local SES branch in December 2024.
The local cricket club received a donation of $17,000 towards the purchase of a new roller in April of this year.

The Lions Club of Heathcote recently celebrated our 54th Annual Changeover Dinner, hosted and catered by our friends at the Heathcote Bowls Club.

Congratulations to our incoming office bearers for 2025/26:
- President: Greg Speirs
- Vice President: Frank Dailey
- Secretary: Lorraine Speirs
- Treasurer: Merle Niclasen

We were also thrilled to induct two new Lions. Congratulations to our newest Lions - Kim Munro, and Claire Mayer. This brings our membership to 11 Lions, with three Lions inducted in the last 12 months.
