Thank you all for joining us for our Mid-Autumn festival celebration 🌕 at the Furama Hotel Furama Darling Harbour in Sydney’s Chinatown on 23 Sep 2026. It was a wonderful evening of old and new friends getting together to celebrate as a community.

A special thanks to our guests of honour Mr Zhi Soon MP (), who also brought with him a moon festival greeting from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, City of Sydney Deputy Lord Mayor Jess Miller and Councillor Robert Kok.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to musician and composer Ms Ying Liu for entertaining us on the Erhu, all our event sponsors and raffle prize donors including Millon Wines, Novotel Sydney Darling Square, Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney, Community Bank Darling Square, Altitude Tea, Andrew Vines, Asther Lam, Christine Kulatunga, Dr Anthony Ching, Dr Olga-Lucia Gamboa-Arana, ILEKTRI Jewellery, Gong Grocer, Kate Wellness, Medan Ciak, Sophia Peng, Thai Kee IGA Market City, and the amazing team at Furama Darling Harbour Hotel led by Melvin Lim and Steven Lam for co-hosting this event with us. Part of the proceeds of the raffle ticket sales will be donated to a charity nominated by the Chamber and Furama.

Last week Haymarket Chamber of Commerce invited 3 experts in the areas of Wills & Estates, Personal Tax and Superannuation to give a talk on succession planning at the Museum of Chinese in Australia (.moca) in Haymarket.

Sincere thanks to our speakers Clare Hesbrook of Hall & Wilcox Lawyers, Lisa To of Bartier Perry Lawyers and Grace Bacon of RSM Australia. The event was moderated by our Chamber president, Vincent Lim.

We are also grateful to the Chair of MOCA, Daphne Lowe Kelley, and her team for their warm welcome and for generously hosting us at their beautiful museum.

Special thanks to Chat Thai Haymarket () for the delicious food catered and to Pepper Tree Wines (**es) for their w**e sponsorship (Sauvignon Blanc Semillon and Shiraz).

You are cordially invited to our 2026 Mid-Autumn (Moon) Festival celebration at the Furama Darling Harbour Hotel in Haymarket on 23 Sep 2026, 6 pm - 8.30 pm.

We look forward to seeing all members and friends of the Chamber come together again for this annual celebration at the new look Furama Hotel with their freshly renovated lobby and restaurant/event space. It will be an enjoyable evening of food and drinks, entertainment, community celebration and business networking.

Food will be catered by our co-host Furama Darling Harbour Hotel Furama Darling Harbour (a member of our Chamber) with w**es from Millon Wines (also a member of our Chamber). Beers and non-alcoholic drinks will be served too. And of course, there will be mooncakes!

Congratulations to Haymarket Chinatown which is now a Purple Flag precinct. Purple Flag is an internationally recognised accreditation program that celebrates vibrant, diverse, and well-managed night-time precincts. The Chamber is proud to have been a part of this success achieved through Haymarket Alliance.

Join us for a forum on “Wills & Succession Planning” featuring experts in the areas of wills and estates, personal taxation and superannuation on Thursday, 27 August 2026, at the Museum of Chinese in Australia (MOCA) in Haymarket.
