From 10 December 2025, new Australian rules regarding social media access for young people will come into effect. Under these regulations, HSCA are unable to endorse or allow any community members under the age of 16 to follow our account.
We are aware that some current followers are students aged 13–16. These students will now need to follow our account through a parent or guardian’s account until they turn 16.
Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us comply with these new requirements.
For more information about the changes, please visit the eSafety Commissioner’s website:

The Australian Government is protecting young Australians at a critical stage of their development, through world-first social media age restrictions.
