🔥Meet the Committee – Week 12🔥

This week we’re introducing Dave Ludenia, our Vice President.

If you’ve ever wondered who keeps volunteering to be the face of club posters, social media campaigns and trail advocacy updates, chances are you’ve already met Dave. Equally recognisable is his tendency to treat shirts as optional riding equipment whenever the weather warms up. 😎

Dave’s love of two wheels started with BMX as a kid and eventually led him to mountain biking, where he’s spent years exploring trails, racing Enduro and travelling to ride amazing places around Australia and the world.

For Dave, mountain biking is the perfect mix of adventure, freedom and adrenaline. These days you’ll most often find him on an Enduro or Trail bike, getting muddy and enjoying everything the sport has to offer.

Away from the trails, Dave works as an engineer and brings plenty of practical thinking to the club. He’s passionate about supporting trail access, protecting natural spaces and helping ensure future generations can enjoy the same riding opportunities we have today.

While racing was once a major focus, Dave says his goals now are more about fun, experiences, new places and good people. It’s a reminder that some of the best things about mountain biking happen away from the results sheet.

And if Dave has any advice for fellow riders?

“To send or not to send, isn’t a question.”
