The Ignatians Musical Society, in 2004, expanded its performance repertoire to include a choral group, the Ignite Choir. Ignite is an un-auditioned choir, so anyone is welcome to join and no previous experience is necessary, although a significant number of the choir members have been involved in Ignatians musicals in the past. Ignite rehearses a wide range of styles – from classical to Gilbert &
Sullivan, Broadway to pop – which means there’s sure to be some repertoire to suit your interests. Ignite rehearsals on TUESDAY nights at 7.30pm in our NEW rehearsal space – The New Hall, at Sherwood State School (Cnr Sherwood Rd & Oxley Rd) Sherwood. The rehearsal space is in the new large building on the Sherwood Rd Side overhanging the oval. There is lots of street parking around the area. Rehearsals run from 7.30 – 9.30pm with coffee/social time before rehearsal.
