Last week we hosted the dog high jump at Chudleigh Agricultural & Horticultural Society show. It was an awesome event with so many spectators!! Thank you to everyone who came out to watch and brought their pups along to give it a go!! Massive shout out to Titan jumping 2.5m!! What a feat! We had a great turnout of members attend as well - thank you all for coming and getting involved!! Can’t wait to see you all at the next one at Westbury show towards the end of the year!

Looking for something to do this Saturday?

Why not come along and see us at the Chudleigh Show!

Hagley Rural Youth will be running the dog high jump, kicking off around 1:30pm!

Entries open from 9am until 1pm.

Small and large dog categories.

$5.00 entry fee per dog.

We had an awesome turn out dog high jump at the Tasmanian Mountain Cattlemen's annual get together over the weekend. Thank you for inviting us to come run it and congratulations to all those who competed and our winners Rip jumping 2.1m in the large dog category and Turbo jumping 900mm in the small dogs category. Come see us at Chudleigh show on the 21st of Feb to get involved in the dog high jump or to just have a chat !!

Tonight was the Meander Valley Volunteer Awards & Community Celebration, an incredible event put on by the Meander Valley Council. Hagley Rural Youth Club was nominated for an award so thank you to our amazing community who nominated us! This nomination showcases how incredible our members are, past and present, and who make this club as special as it is! We would also like to take a moment to congratulate our longest serving Hagley and Rural Youth member Matthew Wadley for receiving the Young Citizen of the year award in the Meander Valley region. Matthew is an integral part of our club and we are forever grateful for his service. Thank you to our President Rory, Vice President Jess, Agfest Chairman and Hagley member Jesse along with Hagley member Matthew for representing our club. It was also great to see Deputy Mayor and past Hagley member Stephanie Cameron tonight as well. Congratulations to those who were nominated for and or won an award tonight. We are forever grateful to be a part of this amazing community.

We had our January meeting tonight at Westbury Bowls Club and started the year off with a bang! Our members learnt how to play lawn bowls with the amazing help from Sophie, Les, Paul and Owen. There were a lot of laughs shared and incredible feedback on how much fun was had. Thank you so much again to Westbury Bowls Club for looking after our members so well! Our next meeting will be the first Thursday of February so keep an eye out on our page for further details.

We will be located in front of the Grand Stand seating - look for the blue Hagley Rural Youth Tent 💙

We will have Small Dogs and Large Dogs for our two categories, with entries being $5 per dog 🐶

Anyone wanting to enter can sign up and pay at the Hagley Rural Youth Tent from 9:30am until 1pm, with the event itself kicking off at 1:30pm - see you there! 🐶💙🤩
