The boys have started a couple more fundraisers that they have been working on for a little while now.
1. They have handmade badges. Often these badges are sewn onto scout blankets but many people have been interested in them for other purposes too if they are not a scout. The badges are $5 each. 7cm diameter. They can fit up to 4 in an envelope and if postage is required, the cost is $1.70. Please let us know if you are interested in buying some.
Because they are handmade there are some imperfections but it depicts what they have been working hard at to earn the funds for their trip! Collecting toads and cans and bottles. 😀
2. So many people have asked so they have prepared a second pie drive! Orders and payments are due 13 August with delivery being 29 August. Things have changed since the first drive, prices have changed (Gislers have set these, some down and some up!) But the boys still get a generous donation and this time the bakery will pack everyone's order for us individually - phew, what a relief!! We have two prizes for the most orders - $50 vouchers from the Gympie RSL. Thank you Gympie RSL. 😀 Please let us know if you are interested in ordering and we will organise to get a form to you.
Once again, the boys (and parents) greatly appreciate the ongoing support from the community. It has been a lot of work but they are getting there. This experience has taught them so much.
