THE WHY | Our Vision at Freedom Music Festival
Our vision for Freedom Music Festival is clear and twofold:
✝️ To preach the gospel
The primary focus of Freedom Music Festival remains to proclaim the gospel message of freedom to everyone - the true and life-changing freedom that only Jesus offers. It is our desire to see many lives saved for the Kingdom of God through the preaching of the gospel at these events.
🎵 To develop Aussie Christian artists.
From the beginning, we have had a clear vision to see both established and young and upcoming Australian artists be given a platform, and the resources needed to grow in their gifting. It's through our events that we hope for artists to have their music heard while developing their talents further.

That’s the vision and reason behind every choice in planning, every guest speaker and musician, and every moment at Freedom Music Festival.

So often, we are asked "Why don’t you charge for entry?" or "How can you afford this if tickets are free?"
It may be counter-cultural, but we believe hearing the gospel message of Jesus was never meant to come with a price tag.
We believe everyone should have the chance to hear of the freedom Jesus offers—without cost, without barrier. That’s why Freedom Music Festival is completely free to attend.
It is our absolute passion to invite all people to attend Freedom Music Festival at no cost. We simply want everyone to have this opportunity to enjoy great Christian music from incredibly talented artists, and to hear the life-changing gospel message of Jesus!

We are so excited to share that the Life on Purpose tour is continuing in 2025!
It was an incredible blessing to be able to visit four different youth groups and schools in the end of 2024, and we are ready to visit many more this year.
We are looking for Queensland schools, youth groups, and churches who would like to host J-L for a visit in their community. With a variety of packaged offerings from J-L, there are plenty of options to choose from to fit your community best.
Our goal is to inspire the next generation to live the life that Jesus paid for, covering topics of identity in Jesus, finding calling, hope, love, power and sound mind, and living life to the fullest!

The Recap: Sharing Your Testimony

Ready for a testimony of the faithfulness of God?
At Freedom Music Festival this year, we witnessed a powerful moment! Friends from our local community had been praying for a couple who hadn’t yet given their lives to Jesus. During one of the worship sets, both of them, independently, chose to say “yes” to Jesus. 🙌💛

Now, they’re plugged into a church on the Sunshine Coast, diving into the Word and seeking Him daily. We’re so grateful to see how God is moving through our community, drawing people closer to His heart.

Please continue to pray over those that encountered Jesus for the first time at Freedom Music Festival. Pray for the 'seeds' that have been planted.

This is the WHY!
