Guyra Lodge No. 325

Guyra Lodge No. 325 The Guyra Lodge was first consecrated on April 16th 1913, following a petition dated 18/11/1912.

The petition was made by masons who lived in the Guyra village and surrounding farms to Grand Lodge for a local lodge to be dedicated. The petition was signed by masons who were primarily members of Lodge Unity No. 6 who met in Armidale, 40km to the South, and Lodge Glen Innes No. 44 who met at Glen Innes, 60km to the North. Wor Bro George Benjamin Hardaker was installed as the Foundation Master a

nd the foundation officers invested on the 16th of April 1913 in the presence of 91 brothers. The Occasional Lodge was opened by the Presiding officer R Wor Bro Arthur H Bray who was assisted by V Wor Bro Morgan Stephens as Senior Warden, Wor Bro Alfred Hogbin as Junior Warden.
