This Friday, AFAC will hold the 12th annual National Memorial Service this to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have died in the line of duty.

During the service, an AFAC Memorial Medallion will be presented to families of those being commemorated, and the service will acknowledge names newly added to the memorial wall.

The today honoured more than 30 volunteers, staff and teams who have gone above and beyond in their duty. Held on the fourth of May each year, the St Florian’s Day award ceremony coincides with the Feast Day of St Florian, Patron Saint of Firefighters and International Firefighters’ Day.

Congratulations to all of this year's recipients, whose achievements span from bravery in the most challenging conditions to years of dedicated leadership and service.

Open Day is back. Saturday 9 May, 10am to 2pm.

Fire stations across NSW are throwing the roller doors open and inviting you in for a closer look behind the scenes at Fire and Rescue NSW.

Expect live demonstrations, a close-up look at the trucks and gear, and the chance to meet your local crews. Families welcome, questions encouraged, free giveaways on offer.

The purpose of this page is to keep you up-to-date with activities, events, and to share fire-related information for the Lower North Coast District as well as other Districts within NSW.

The Lower North Coast District encompasses the Kempsey and Nambucca Shires.

This page is managed by the Gumma Rural Fire Brigade.

We’ll do our best to respond to you within 1-3 business days. Please note that replies may be delayed during periods of intense fire activity.
