On 9 September, the WA community will come together in Perth to tell Premier Cook - don’t frack the precious Kimberley.
The Kimberley is home to a living Aboriginal culture tens of thousands of years old, but this precious area is under threat from destructive gas fracking.
Full scale gas fracking would mean thousands of gas wells, sucking billions of litres of water. Any day now, the WA government will decide whether to allow Texan Black Mountain Energy to frack for unconventional gas in the Kimberley.
Community strength has held off fracking in the Kimberley for over a decade, but now the region needs our help to protect this unique and wonderful place from fracking for good. Join us in Perth to tell the WA Labor Government that we want a healthy, thriving Kimberley, not destructive fracking. Ban fracking in the Kimberley.

The QLD Government has approved an Arrow Energy gasfield expansion that would clear koala habitat in Dalby State Forest, despite documented evidence of the endangered marsupials living in the path of the company's bulldozers.

Earlier this week, 7NEWS Toowoomba reported our drone footage showing koalas in the path of an Arrow Energy expansion on Queensland's Western Downs.

Unfortunately, the Queensland Government has decided to favour a multinational gas company's expansion plans over Queensland's koalas.

⚠️The Texan frackers are back - we have until tonight. Please help!

Texan fracking company Black Mountain has lodged a fresh proposal for 20 fracking wells in the heart of the Kimberley. This would be just the beginning, they want a pipeline to the Pilbara that would need thousands of wells and fracking to supply it turning the Kimberley into a gasfield.

It’s been 2 months since Black Mountain withdrew their initial 6 well proposal to the Federal Government. That was thanks to 3,000 people (in less than 10 days!) calling them out because we knew they wanted 20 wells.
