We have an Open Day on the 1st Sunday of each month from 10am to 2pm. Chalmers History Centre is located approximately 40 Klms fromRockhampton, Yeppoon and Emu Park. The centre displays photgraphs depicting the life and times of an old gold and copper mining town.

This Sunday, Easter Sunday 5th April is our final Open Day from 10am to 2pm. Some of our volunteers will be onhand to show you through our displays. We will be having a general meeting on Saturday 11th April at 9:30, mainly to discuss Anzac day matters.

This Sunday, 1st March is our next Open Day from 10am to 2pm.
As the Centre is closing its doors after the Anzac Day service, this will be our second last Open Day, the last one will be on Sunday 5th April.
Our displays will still be available for viewing until the April open day.

Our AGM is coming up on Saturday 21st February at 9:30 at the History centre. Please come along if you would like to help the centre to continue operating.

The History Centre has a few events coming up.
Firstly, this Sunday 27th July is our Guided Historic Walking Tour, starting at 9:30am. Cost $5 includes Morning tea (cash only please). Walk will be approx 3km around the Mt Chalmers points of interest at a casual pace. Please bring water bottle, hat and wear sensible walking shoes.

Secondly, Sunday 3rd August is our next Open Day from 10am to 2pm.
