Women Of Note Bendigo Central Victorian Women's Choir Inc. We are a non-auditioning, performing choir who meet weekly to share and enjoy fabulous music. New members welcome!

We rehearse at the Salvation Army Hall, 65 - 71 Mundy Street in Bendigo every Wednesday evening during school terms from 6.45 pm to 9.00 pm.

28 singers from Women of Note and 18 partners/friends have their bags packed to leave in the next day or two heading for Prague to begin our much-anticipated Choral Tour of Europe! We will be performing in Prague, Vienna, a town called Brezovica near Ljubljana, and Salzburg, ending the tour in Munich. The Slovenian ladies in the Brezovica Choir are excited to share a concert where they will sing Waltzing Matilda with us, and we will share in a beautiful Slovenian folk song. Women of Note enjoyed performing to a packed house at St Paul's Cathedral in Bendigo last Sunday! Thanks to our MD Anne, and pianist Peter, for their talents and ongoing support. We are looking forward to performing in several European cities in late June/July. It's getting exciting!

A fabulous fundraising effort by WoN volunteers, partners and friends on Easter Saturday at Bendigo's Chinese Museum during the Awakening of the Dragon celebrations! We manned the Rotary Barbeque and raised about $2500 to go towards the expenses of our upcoming overseas choral tour! Thanks to Rotary for their facility, assistance and generosity. Well done everyone! Thanks to Deborah for these photos.
