🌈 QUEERLY CONNECTING WITH PRIDE 🌈

Connection starts here! Join us for the final day of Gold Coast Wellbeing Week 2026—a week dedicated to bringing our community together and helping people feel more connected to themselves, to others and to their community.

For this special event, the iconic Hairy Mary’s Mermaid Beach will be transformed into a calm, welcoming, all-ages and completely alcohol-free venue for the day. 💚
Come along for an uplifting afternoon of pride, creativity, wellbeing and community connection, featuring:

What an amazing day at our first Bunnings Sausage Sizzle! We raised over $2,000 for our community! Thank you to everyone who came along, purchased a sausage or a raffle ticket and supported us, as well as our amazing volunteers and sponsors! Thanks to our Major sponsors Coles and Travel & Leisure Co who help support the GCPC, including Coles providing all our sausages and bread today! Plus all the amazing sponsors who contributed to our raffle hamper! Check out how excited Evie and her daughters were to win the raffle today!

🌭 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TOMORROW! 🏳️‍🌈

Gold Coast Pride Collective needs a few extra helping hands for our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings Robina tomorrow!

We particularly need volunteers between 11am–2pm, but we’d also love some extra help during the morning and afternoon shifts.

There’s plenty to help with:
🔥 Cooking
🌭 Serving
👋 Greeting customers
🏳️‍🌈 Generally helping us keep the day running smoothly!

Even if you can only spare an hour or two, we’d love to have you along. All funds raised will support the work of Gold Coast Pride Collective and our local LGBTQIA+ community.

The Gold Coast Pride Collective will be firing up the BBQ at Bunnings, Robina from 9am – 4pm Saturday, raising much-needed funds to support the work we do for the Gold Coast LGBTQIA+ community. 💖

📣 JOIN THE GOLD COAST PRIDE COLLECTIVE BOARD! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
Gold Coast Pride Collective is looking for a passionate new volunteer Board Member to join our team — and we're particularly looking for someone with skills and experience in social media and website management.
We're looking for someone who can help us with:
📱 Creating and scheduling engaging social media content
💬 Managing our social channels and responding to queries
💻 Updating and maintaining our Wix website
📅 Keeping our website up to date with events and community information
The role requires approximately 2–5 hours per week, depending on what we've got happening.
As a member of the Board, you'll also be involved in the broader work of Gold Coast Pride Collective, including:
🏳️‍🌈 Attending fortnightly online Board meetings
🤝 General committee duties and representing GCPC at community events
🎉 Helping plan and deliver our events and activities throughout the year
🌈 Playing a role in the planning and delivery of our major annual event, Gold Coast Pride Fair Day
We're ideally looking for someone with existing experience in social media management, content creation and Wix, who is enthusiastic about contributing their skills to support and strengthen the Gold Coast LGBTQIA+ community.
