This job was a little sad. These two young Eastern Brown Snakes had got themselves stuck in some loose netting while mating. I got the call at the end of a rather warm day and unfortunately one of the snakes had already passed away from overheating.

The snake which was still alive was cut free, rehydrated in a tub of water overnight and the next day she was successfully released. Best of luck to her and fingers crossed her future years of breeding won’t be as stressful as this one!

Quite a large Carpet Python which entered a home in Bonogin and created quite a mess last night. The customers had locked him in a room and gave me a call this morning, where he was found having a sleep in a draw.
