✨ WELCOME BACK OUR INCREDIBLE SPONSOR ✨

We’re so proud to continue our partnership with .tmg, who have generously supported Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue QLD throughout 2025 and are now returning as a sponsor for 2026 💙🐾

For those who may not know, Ray White TMG is a high-performing Gold Coast real estate group led by respected local agent Matt Micallef, known for their strong community focus, innovative approach, and commitment to delivering real results for people.

With multiple offices across the Gold Coast and a growing team, they’ve built a reputation not just for property expertise, but for genuinely putting people first and making a positive impact in their community.

And that’s exactly why their support means so much to us.

Because behind every sponsorship is real impact, helping us rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Cavaliers who need it most.

We’re incredibly grateful to have Ray White TMG by our side again this year 🤍

Please join us in thanking them for their ongoing support and backing of rescue.

Meet Milo 🤎 And a side of rescue you may not see very often…

When Milo came to Cavalier Rescue QLD, he needed us.

He was significantly overweight, had ear infections, terribly long nails, no vaccinations and arthritis affecting his hips, legs and knees.

X-rays later showed that his knees had fused. At almost 10 years old, Milo didn’t need another big change in his life. He needed comfort, stability and someone to love him exactly as he was.

So Milo became a permanent foster.

What does that mean?

Some Cavaliers who come into our care are elderly or have ongoing medical needs that make adoption difficult. Instead, they stay with one of our wonderful foster families for the rest of their lives, while Cavalier Rescue QLD continues to support their approved veterinary care.

For Milo, it means home. ❤️

His foster family absolutely adore him. He still enjoys two little walks each day, receives monthly Cartrophen injections to help keep him moving, and spends his days with his mate Pearl, another 10-year-old rescue Cavalier.

His family provides his food, his home and all the everyday love. We make sure his ongoing veterinary needs are taken care of.

Fostering isn’t always about saying goodbye a few weeks later.

Sometimes it’s giving a senior dog a soft place to land for however long they have left.

And behind every dog like Milo is a foster carer who makes that possible.

If you’ve ever thought about fostering, perhaps Milo’s story might be the little nudge you needed. 🤎

Because opening your home to a rescue dog might only be one chapter of your life - but to them, it can change the whole story.

Happy International Dog Day 🐶❤️

Today we’re celebrating the Cavaliers who make us laugh, follow us from room to room, steal the best spot on the couch and somehow convince us they haven’t been fed yet. 😂

And we’re giving an extra little squeeze to the rescue Cavaliers still waiting for their person to find them 🏡

Every dog deserves to feel safe, loved and completely at home. We’re so grateful to everyone who helps us make that possible through fostering, adopting, donating, volunteering or simply sharing our dogs.

Give your Cavalier an extra cuddle from us today! 🐾

**APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED**

Hi world, I’m Millie!

I’ve just turned one, weigh a tiny 6.5kg and I’m a happy, playful little girl with plenty to say!

I love walks, car rides, playing chase and being wherever my people are. Harness out? I’m coming too! I love meeting people, belly rubs and cuddles, and at bedtime I’ll happily tuck myself under the covers beside you.

Other dogs? My favourite. I love playing and wrestling, so I need a young, playful dog in my new home!

I sound like fun (because I am!), but it’s important to please read the rest before applying for me. 🤍

I’m a vocal girl. I bark when I play, see people or dogs outside, get startled or notice something has changed. Noise and unexpected activity can make me anxious and jumpy.

I also have separation anxiety and like knowing where my person is (bathroom supervision included). I can manage short periods with another dog, but someone needs to be home most of the day.

🏡 My home needs:
✅ Young, playful resident dog
✅ Someone home most of the day
✅ Calm, predictable home
✅ Children 10+
✅ Patience with barking & anxiety
✅ Ongoing training & confidence building

❌ I’m not suited to:
❌ Being an only dog
❌ Long periods alone
❌ Young children
❌ Busy/noisy households
❌ A home where barking is an issue
❌ Someone wanting an independent dog

I’m toilet trained, good on lead, great in the car and still learning the dog door. I’m good with dogs and children 10+.

One very important part of my history: I came into rescue after concerns I may have been having seizures. Two vets couldn’t find a medical cause and no seizures or abnormal neurological behaviours have been observed during my five weeks in foster care.

While that’s reassuring, my rescue can’t guarantee neurological symptoms won’t appear in future, so my family needs to be comfortable with that possibility.

I’m a fun, affectionate little girl still figuring things out. I just need a family who understands all of me and will love me for all of it 🤍
Price on application.
