Preston Campbell Foundation He went on to play for the Cronulla Sharks, Penrith Panthers, and Gold Coast Titans, before finally retiring in 2011 after an impressive 267 first-grade games.

The Preston Campbell Foundation supports Australian community wellbeing initiatives in the areas of physical & mental health, employment, education, and youth mentorship, funded by the PCF Lottery. Originally from Tingha, a small town of fewer than 900 residents in NNSW, Preston began his rugby league career with the Inverell Hawks before making his NRL debut with the Gold Coast Chargers in 1998.

A Premiership winner, Dally M Player of the Year (2011), and driving force behind the NRL All Stars concept in 2010, Preston’s influence extends far beyond the field. In 2008, he was awarded the Ken Stephen Medal for outstanding community contribution, and in 2023 received the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his service to Indigenous youth and rugby league. Today, he is one of Australia’s most respected sporting ambassadors, dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and communities across a wide range of initiatives. In 2015, Preston Campbell founded the Preston Campbell Foundation to provide equal opportunity initiatives and programs that benefit all Australians when it comes to health, education, wellbeing and employment. The Foundation inspires and mentors individuals, families, and communities to ‘live above the line’ through programs that share Preston’s journey and create pathways to achieving goals. In September 2024, PCF formed an alliance partnership with Not-For-Profit entity, NORTEC (ABN 88 129 092 280) to manage, operate and deliver on PCF initiatives in order to modernise, expand its programs and ensure financial sustainability. This as known as the Preston Campbell Foundation Alliance (PCFA).

𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 🤍

Last week, the we were honoured to be part of the 2026 Walk on Country at Kingscliff, held during National Reconciliation Week.

This special community event brought people together on Country to reflect, connect and celebrate culture. The day began with a Walk with Uncle Franc, followed by a Welcome to Country and powerful performances by the Birren Dance Group, before the community came together at information and activity stalls.

On the day, PCF was proud to support the community by:
• Hosting a family-friendly cookie decorating stall featuring our much-loved lemon myrtle boomerang cookies.
• Sharing information about the work we do and how we support community.
• Sponsoring and fully hosting the Elders Tent, including catering, to ensure a welcoming and supported space for Elders throughout the day.

A heartfelt thank you to our PCF team and volunteers who represented us on the day and helped create a warm, inclusive space for everyone.
