Birds of the Cumberland Plain Friday 20 March 9am - 12pm. Crossman Reserve with the Bushcare Group to learn all about the birds who call this place home. A guided walk and talk around the reserve with bird expert Mark Fuller from Avianation to record the species seen and heard. After that is weeding the reserve to help conserve the birds’ natural habitat and protect the flora from invasive weeds. ISSUES ON BLAXLAND CROSSING (Wallacia Bridge)

One of the expansion plates on Blaxland Crossing has come off overnight. Council crews are on their way to inspect the bridge and look to either repair the plate or undertake make-safe repairs if possible. Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution and avoid the area if possible.
