Yesterday, Centipede got busy with a whole lot of fun! The CIRCUS came to Centipede and did an incredible and hilarious show, followed by a circus workshop! While the K-3s where balancing plates and juggling, Years 4-6 went on an excursion to Pancakes on the Rocks! We walked underneath the Harbour Bridge, traveled on a ferry, and rode on the Metro - some even for the first time!

Yesterday, the children of Centipede went on an adventure to the Blue Mountains to see the Three Sisters! Even though it was cold, everyone had an awesome time, and even got to see snow!

Happy winter school holidays! Today, the kids at Centipede had a blast! We went to Centennial Park and did an Aboriginal Dance class, and further learned about Aboriginal culture! We also got to enjoy the beautiful park, nature, and awesome play equipment!

We have been having all sorts of fun at Centipede this week! Pictured here are some impressive limbo moves, making chocolate cupcakes in our Cooking Club, some yummy banana bread for afternoon tea, and early morning meditation on the grass in our before school care!

Here are some photos of some fun playtime at Centipede! The kids have been enjoying the play equipment being back open, have been playing some ball games, and having fun on the grass in this lovely weather!

The past week has been full of heaps of fun! The kids made a beautiful fairy garden, and also played lots of snakes and ladders on the other side. There was also some checkers by torch light, and making chocolate chip pancakes together in before school care!

We don't let rainy days stop us here at Centipede! We've been playing outside in the small moments where the rain stops, and inside having loads of fun building and creating! Also, check out that double rainbow, and our room's new lights!

The children of Centipede got messy this week! With some shampoo, cornstarch, and a bit of food colouring, the kids made some amazing cloud slime to play with!

Here at Centipede, our kids LOVE being active and playing sports! Pictured here is some soccer, basketball, gymnastics, wrestling, and footy! Gymnastics and basketball especially have taken Centipede by storm the past few weeks.

This week at Centipede, a hit activity was designing foam fairies! The kids got super creative with them, even using them to play in the dollhouse, and making fairy families! They turned out so cute.

Autumn is here, and the sun is setting earlier, which means one thing for the Centipede kids - it's time for the torches to come out! The children have been loving playing flashlight tag, making silly faces, and anything else they can dream up.
